"In June 2007, we made the decision to sell our property in Burpengary. We had a unique property on acreage with a large shed and a 2 bed granny flat. We knew we were not going to capture the mainstream market, and selecting the right agent would be critical to a successful sale. As part of our decision making process for choosing “the right agent” I attended two open homes within Burpengary and we also approached three local real estate agencies for an appraisal. Three key factors were identified to us throughout the decision making process:

1.      The difference in professionalism throughout the open homes;

2.      We received huge price differences from the agents, in fact there was almost $150,000 in price difference from the lowest quote to the highest quote, and;

3.      The other agents were very quick to put the opposition down.

 We soon realised there was no question that Lincoln had to be our agent. He was extremely professional from the beginning, justified his pricing and delivered a contract only six days after we listed the property for sale. Lincoln and his wonderful team handled the property with ease and we had a steady flow of interested parties attending the open homes whilst we waited to the “unconditional status” of the contract. At no point in time did Lincoln and his team STOP the marketing process, and until settlement of the property, Lincoln and his team remained in contact, again, ensuring we received a high level of customer service.

To any person considering selling there property, I recommend the following:

1.      Attend an “Open Home” and experience the Harcourts difference.

2.      Request an appraisal from Lincoln.

3.      Consider investing in the professional photography package. (You will be so impressed)

4.      Allow a decent budget for advertising. (you can’t sell a secret)

5.      Choose Lincoln Moffat as your no. 1 Agent.
